Can CBD oil be useful against viruses like Covid19?

Although some information has been viralized that ensures that this cannabiodie could be useful against the coronavirus, the truth is that there is no solid research in progress on the effect of CBD on the Covid-19 coronavirus. Where does this rumor come from then?

CBD AND COVID-19: AN UNTESTED RELATIONSHIP

However, they add that the results are encouraging but preliminary and that many new studies are needed before CBD hits the market as a treatment for viral diseases.

Other studies suggest that CBD does not have a direct antiviral effect, but that its recognized anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties may be useful in the treatment of viral infections such as oral and genital herpes and herpes zoster and, even, Ebola.

A study on the use of topical CBD oil is currently underway to determine its efficacy in inactivating Zika and West Nile viruses. But, as we have already said, there is no solid research in progress on the effect of CBD on the Covid-19 coronavirus.
